Itinerary -
Day 01:
NJP Rly Stn / IXB Airport – Rumtek (About 125 kms / 4 hrs) Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP station / IXB airport & transfer to Rumtek – “The Capital City of Sikkimâ€. On arrival check-in to your hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay will be at Rumtek.
Day 02:
Rumtek (Trip to Tsomgo Lake + Baba Mandir) Start for a half day excursion trip of Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial (13200 ft) 52 kms from Gangtok city. Tsomgo Lake freezes completely during the winter and is much revered by the locals. Overnight stay will be at Rumtek.
Day 03:
Rumtek Ravangla (2 hours / 67 Km.) This morning proceed to Ravangla – Called “Birds eye view†(7000 ft.) On arrival check-in to your hotel. After lunch visit Temi Tea Garden the only Tea estate in Sikkim & the Gurupadmasambhava statue (135 ft.) It is said to be the highest statue of Guru Padmasambhaba in the World. Overnight stay will be at Ravangla.
Day 04:
Ravangla (Sight seeing) After breakfast visit Ralong Monastery, Tendong Hill (8530 ft), Borong – A small typical Sikkim village and hot spring. Overnight stay will be at Ravangla.
Day 05:
Ravangla –Rinchenpong (03 Hours Approx) This morning drive to another picturesque village called Rinchenpong (6,000 ft.) in West Sikkim. On arrival check-in to your hotel, Evening local village walk. Overnight stay will be at Rinchenpong.
Day 06:
Rinchenpong (Sight seeing) After breakfast you can trek to Khandi Danra/Melanpso forest which is famous for its varied species of flora & fauna or you can visit Ati-Buddha statue, Old stone stupa, Rinchenpong Monastery. Overnight stay will be at Rinchenpong.
Day 07:
Rinchenpong –NJP Rly Stn. / IXB airport (04 Hours Approx) Morning free for packing & personal activities. Check out from hotel in time and take the departure transfer to NJP railway station / IXB airport for your onward journey.

ESSENTIALS:
Basic personal items to be carried include, feather jacket & heavy woolens during winter and light woolens during summer, walking boots, rain proof jacket during monsoon, torch, spare batteries, water flask, cold cream, personal medicines & Sunglasses.
Advice guest to bring heavy woolens if traveling to Lachung/North Sikkim as this area is cold through out the year.
NOTE:
For visiting Tsomgo lake, permit is required. It is mandatory that guest should carry 04 COPIES OF PASS – PORT SIZE PHOTOGRAPH, ORIGINAL ID PROOF (identity card – Voter ID card/Pass-port/Driving License etc) for processing of permit.
Guest Traveling to North Sikkim (lachung & lachen) requires 2 more copy of passport size photograph.
In Lachung:-
All the packages start from Gangtok & ends at Gangtok. Packages are available with all meals only. This area is very picturesque & full with flora & fauna.
As this is a backward area…..
Hotels available are only with basic amenities & simple food cooked by the locals.
There is no geyser in the bathroom – hot water is supplied by buckets by the hotelier.
No room heating systems are provided in the room due to shortage of power, instead the hotelier provides Hot water bags.
There are no telephone landlines and the guest has to bear with it.
Due to shortage of power the guest sometimes, may have to bear it with candle light.
Excursion to Katao & Zero point (Yumesamdong) is kept optional & subject to availability of permit, which the guest can avail with an extra cost payable directly to the driver.
In LACHEN
We have kept excursion trip to Gurudongmar Lake as optional & subject to availability of permit. In case the permit is available one can opt for the trip with an extra charge on prior intimation.
In Lachen Hotel Accommodation & Food are very basic.
There is no geyser in the bathroom – hot water is supplied by buckets by the hotelier.

NATHULA:
Nathula visit is subject to permit & road condition. Only limited permits are issued by the army before 48 hrs of tour. It is open only on Wed, Thurs, Fri; Sat & Sun. NAME, ADDRESS, AGE & GENDER of all guests traveling are required for processing of permit. Normally organizing permit at the eleventh hour is not possible, minimum time required is 72 hours before the arrival. We will try our best, but in case of non-availability of permit, the tour will only be till Baba Mandir. In one vehicle only 8 persons are allowed. In case the permit is available one can opt for the trip with an extra charge Rs. 5000/- per vehicle.
It is mandatory that guest should carry photo proof identity card – voter id card, etc.
